Hook-Pin Rainscreen
Panels
The Hook-Pin system provides panels with integral structural support pins enabling
them to be hooked on and secretly fixed to an aluminium carrier profile.
The cosmetically flat and uniform appearance is a result of the superior
design and manufacturing techniques employed. This ventilated and drained
system consists of a baffle-jointed series of panels that creates a weather
shield in front of a primary structure, if the air space between is zoned
correctly the system becomes pressure equalized.
Support System
Hook-Pin Wall brackets are manufactured from extruded aluminium and are hands free
fully adjustable. The Hook-Pin aluminium carrier profile has fabricated slots to
accept macrolon anti rattle clips that the panel pin hooks into.

Gaskets
No sealants or gaskets are required.
Structural
Optima® systems are developed and produced to CWCT guidelines and have
been specified on many projects. Consult with Sotech for restrictions.
Insulation/Water Penetration
Insulation Placed on the primary wall can be overlaid with a breather membrain.
There must be a 25mm minimum free ventilated air gap to allow evaporation of
any moisture penetrating the rainscreen.
Fire Performance
System does not support combustion and all components meet the requirements
laid out in BS476, part 7, Class O.
Fabrication & Fixing Fabrication of all system elements will be carried
out in accordance with the fabrication instructions that each selected contractor
possesses as part of a design, manufacturing and fixing guide.
