Using the latest 3D design/development software in conjunction with a fully computerised CAD/CAM fabrication facility, Sotech is able to manufacture high quality façade systems and ancillary components.
All punch, shear, press and rolling machines are 4000mm long allowing Sotech to manufacture panels and flashings that are larger than the industry standards. Larger components mean a reduction in the quantities required and reduced installation times on site.
Sotech has made significant advances in the fabrication of natural and pre-finished materials, particularly pre-coated aluminium and aluminium composite materials (ACM).
Improvements in adhesives and bonding techniques combined with greater fabricating accuracy allow Sotech to manufacture high quality fabrications in pre-finished materials, where previously only welded and linished components that had been post-powder coated would have been acceptable.
Investment in fully automated, CNC flat bed routing technology has allowed Sotech to further push the fabrication boundaries and can process board products including ACM up to 6000mm x 2000mm.
These developments have given architects designers and contractors greater scope in material choice and increased confidence to specify Sotech’s Optima products in an ever increasing range of building envelope situations.
